16 Undocumented Migrants Found in Peristerona – Nine Arrests

Yesterday around 9:30 PM, 16 undocumented migrants, eight of whom were minors, were located in Peristerona by the Green Line Surveillance Sub-Directorate.

Nine individuals were arrested for assisting in the trafficking of undocumented migrants and are expected to appear before the Nicosia District Court. The migrants were transferred to the ‘’Pournara’’ First Reception Center in Kokkinotrimithia. The Morfou Crime Investigation Department is conducting an investigation.
