33-year-old Kicks Police Officer in the Face While on Stretcher

A 33-year-old man was arrested in Nicosia for assaulting a police officer. According to the Cyprus Times, police officers found the man, of African descent, injured in Agios Dometios and transported him to the hospital.

While on a stretcher, the 33-year-old kicked a police officer in the face and threatened a patient. The police officer is expected to undergo surgery. The court ordered the 33-year-old to be detained for three days.
