Ayia Napa: Attack on Police Officer During Arrest – Burglary Tools Found

Police arrested two men, aged 32 and 34, in Ayia Napa for illegal possession of property, possession of burglary tools, assault against a police officer, causing disturbance, breach of the peace, and resisting arrest.

Shortly before midnight, officers located the suspects in a parked car. A search revealed electrical and burglary tools.

The 32-year-old attacked a police officer during the arrest and was re-arrested. Famagusta CID is investigating.
