A violent brawl between underage female students took place at a high school in the Paphos District. According to statements by Christodoulos Konsolos, Communications Officer of the Police Headquarters, the incident occurred during a class.

Mr. Konsolos stated on the show "Mesimeri kai Kati" that a parent was also involved in the altercation. Additionally, Giorgos Koutsidis, Deputy Director of Secondary General Education, emphasized the rise in school violence.

Mr. Konsolos added that the brawl continued after school hours, with the involvement of relatives. He described school violence as a serious educational and social issue.

Mr. Koutsidis pointed out that incidents of violence in schools are frequent, with 90% of them occurring in high schools in Cyprus. He also stated that there will be punishments for those who resort to such actions.
