Violent Assault on Minor in Nicosia: Police Investigation

A shocking incident of violence occurred in the Nicosia province, where a minor was attacked by other girls of the same age. The incident, which was recorded in a video circulating on social media, shows the brutality of the attack.

According to the Police, the victim was taken to the hospital for first aid. The authorities have the video and the victim's statement, which was given in the presence of her parents.

Given that both the victim and the perpetrators are under 14 years old, the Police did not make any arrests, as according to the law, individuals of this age are not criminally responsible. However, investigations are continuing to identify other individuals who were present at the incident.

The case has been forwarded to the Social Services for further handling.
