Famagusta: 18-Year-Old Arrested for Knife-Point Robbery

Police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, March 11, in the Famagusta district. The victim was a 20-year-old male.

The 18-year-old was arrested by members of the Famagusta TAE (CID) pursuant to a court warrant. He has been detained, and investigations are ongoing.

This is the second arrest in the case, following the arrest of a 17-year-old. The 17-year-old was brought before the Famagusta District Court and was ordered to be detained for seven days.

According to the complaint, on March 11, in Ayia Napa, two unknown individuals stole the 20-year-old's wallet at knifepoint.
