Infant Formula Recall in Cyprus Due to Possible Cereulide Presence

The Health Services of the Ministry of Health announced the recall of specific batches of infant formula in the Cypriot market due to the possible presence of cereulide.
According to the announcement, the recall is being carried out for precautionary reasons by Nestle, due to the potential presence of cereulide, produced by the microorganism Bacillus cereus, in one of the product's ingredients.
Consumers are urged not to use these batches for feeding their infants and to return them to the stores where they were purchased. The Health Services are continuing to investigate the incident.
Furthermore, buyers who have purchased products online are asked to check if their products fall under the recall by selecting the seller's country here.
