Trial for Attempted Murder of Businessman in Larnaca Adjourned

The trial of 22-year-old S.Y.O.P., accused of the attempted murder of a 47-year-old businessman in Larnaca, has been adjourned to May 4. The decision was made by the Larnaca Permanent Criminal Court due to workload.

The defendant, who faces nine charges, remained in custody and was brought to court under tight security. The charges include conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and illegal possession of firearms.

According to the police, videos were found on S.Y.O.P.'s mobile phone showing him monitoring the businessman. The attempted murder took place on July 31, while the businessman was riding a bicycle in the Dromolaxia area.
