Adjournment in the "Trial" of 5 Greek Cypriots in Occupied Territories

The "trial" of the five Greek Cypriots held in the occupied territories has been adjourned until Thursday, following today's second "hearing" at the "military court" in occupied Nicosia. The adjournment was granted for the "court" to decide on a request by the "prosecuting authority" to conduct an autopsy at the scene of the incident, a request to which the defense objected.
According to information from Turkish Cypriot media, two witnesses from the "prosecuting authority", members of the "police", were examined. Their examination focused on technical details regarding the presence of signs in the area and the tinted windows of the defendants' vehicle.
The "prosecuting authority" submitted a request to conduct an autopsy, with the defense objecting, calling the request an attempt to cover up gaps in the "investigative process".
Simultaneously, the "appeals" filed by the defense against the decisions to detain the five Greek Cypriots were "heard" yesterday and today. Decisions on the "appeals" were reserved.
