48-year-old wanted for attempted murder in Famagusta

Police are searching for Marinos Kourouniadis, 48, from the Famagusta district, in connection with a case of attempted murder committed on August 8, 2025, in Vrysoules.

According to the Police, around 3 p.m. on Friday, a 61-year-old man was seriously injured in a village in Famagusta. He was transferred to Famagusta General Hospital with a skull fracture and cerebral hemorrhage and then to Nicosia General Hospital for surgery. His condition is considered critical.

The evidence suggests that the 61-year-old had a verbal altercation with another person, who then allegedly hit him with a car.
