Unbelievable: 'Dead' Man Answers Phone During Customs Check in Occupied Territories

An unbelievable incident occurred at a checkpoint when officials from the Department of Customs contacted the supposedly 'dead' owner of a vehicle.
According to Giorgos Konstantinou, representative of the Department of Customs, during the inspection of a vehicle driven by a foreign national, a small quantity of cigarettes and tobacco from the occupied territories was found. The driver claimed that the vehicle belonged to her deceased husband.
Customs officers contacted the owner's phone number, and to their surprise, the 'dead' man answered, confirming that the vehicle belonged to him and was being driven by his wife.
