Police Officer Suspended for Sexual Harassment Allegations

A police officer has been suspended following allegations of sexual harassment and indecent assault.

According to Christoforos Nestoros of Alpha, the officer was arrested and detained for two days after a complaint from a female colleague.

The Deputy Chief of Police immediately ordered his suspension, which took place on Saturday afternoon.

A disciplinary and criminal investigation is underway against the police officer.
