Revealing conversations of police officers involved in a drug trafficking ring, dismantled by the Internal Affairs Unit of the Hellenic Police (ELAS), have come to light. According to the investigation, the leader was a junior officer.

In conversations recorded by the "Untouchables," the junior officer is heard saying to an associate: "I want 10,000 to get 5 kilos... I have 7... I want 3 tonight... Then we'll play ball... black." In other messages, he allegedly asks, "And if you have a buyer, bring him in 2 days," "5 kilos."

A sub-lieutenant, who served in the Drug Enforcement Unit, allegedly stole narcotics from confiscated goods. In one instance, after an operation in June 2024, he allegedly placed bags of cannabis in a service vehicle and met with an associate to assess the quality.

In a conversation with the associate, the sub-lieutenant is heard saying: "It smells, damn it... what if they stop you?" A conversation between the junior officer and the sub-lieutenant regarding money from a drug trafficking deal that fell through was also revealed.

The junior officer's lawyer, Ioannis Glykas, stated that his client will provide convincing explanations to the investigating authorities.
