The trial has begun regarding the 2019 suicide of 15-year-old Stylianos. Police officers testified in court about reports made by the mother concerning poor living conditions and domestic violence.

Two police officers, who served at the Pera Choriou Nisou Police Station, testified regarding reports made by Stylianos' mother. One officer stated that the mother had reported poor living conditions and a desire for divorce in 2010. She had also mentioned contacting the Social Welfare Services.

The second witness, a sergeant of the MMAD, testified about a report made by the mother in 2007 regarding domestic violence. He informed a social worker and created a file. Stylianos' father received recommendations.

Two defendants changed their pleas, admitting to some charges. In total, 11 people are accused in the case. Stylianos' father faces charges of physical and psychological violence. The mother is accused of failing to report incidents of violence. The remaining defendants are officials of the Social Welfare Services.

The next court dates are scheduled for March 6, March 17, and March 27.
