Investigator Appointed for 'Santis' SMS Case – Claims of Forged Messages

Developments are rapidly unfolding in the 'Santis' SMS case, which allegedly involves politicians and judicial figures. The Council of Ministers is expected to appoint an independent criminal investigator on Wednesday.
'Santis' reportedly stated that the messages are fabricated, while authorities secured them through her lawyer, Nikos Klerides. Police aim to investigate every aspect of the case.
According to reports, 'Santis' had meetings with investigators and members of a specialized department, where she rejected allegations of pedophilia, specifying the timeline of her acquaintance with the former judge mentioned by Makarios Drousiotis.
Justice Minister Kostas Fytiris will propose the appointment of an independent criminal investigator to the Council of Ministers, after informing President Christodoulides. Lawyer Nikos Klerides handed over a series of messages to the police in Nicosia.
Mr. Klerides stated that the messages refer to matters of brotherhood and political figures, and that their authenticity must be verified.
