Two Arrests and 136 Complaints in Night Operations in Cyprus

Cyprus Police conducted targeted operations in all districts, resulting in two arrests and 136 complaints for traffic violations.

In Nicosia, a 30-year-old was arrested on an outstanding warrant. A driver was also arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Over 570 vehicles were stopped and more than 710 people were checked. 35 premises were inspected, resulting in one complaint for violation of operating licenses.

Of the 136 traffic violations, 32 were for driving under the influence. Over 510 drivers were tested for alcohol, and seven vehicles were impounded.

These operations aim to prevent crime and enhance the public's sense of security.
