Appeal Filed in 29-Year-Old's Release Due to Delay

The Legal Service has filed an appeal against the decision of the Larnaca District Court to release a 29-year-old woman, suspected of committing offenses in Larnaca between August and September. The offenses concern conspiracy and violation of the law on the protection of personal data.

The court's decision to release the 29-year-old was based on the fact that the Police delayed bringing her before the court by a few minutes, exceeding the 24-hour limit. A 29-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the same case and was detained for eight days.
