Malandrino Prison Raid: Knives and Mobile Phones Seized

A coordinated raid was carried out at Malandrino prison by officers of the Hellenic FBI, resulting in the arrest of four inmates.

During the operation, which took place on Friday morning, 16 cells were searched. Authorities seized 2 knives, an improvised awl, 4 mobile phones with chargers, a ring with 3 keys, and handwritten notes.

Police officers from the Narcotics Sub-Directorate participated in the operation, with the assistance of other EL.AS services. The detainees were led to the competent prosecutor's office, while the evidence will be examined by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
