Cyprus is mentioned in Jeffrey Epstein's emails, according to recently released documents. The emails, spanning 2013-2019, include references to Cyprus in communications between Epstein, Steve Bannon, Michael Wolff, and Sultan bin Sulayem.

In a May 2018 email, bin Sulayem mentions being "currently in Cyprus." Bin Sulayem is the chairman of DP World, which manages the Limassol port. The emails do not specify the purpose of his stay in Cyprus.

In another email, Epstein refers to a Russian oligarch and banking transactions, while earlier correspondence mentions "Cyprus? BVI accounts, biotechnology." Additionally, a British academic suggested "moving the study to Cyprus."

Overall, the documents do not indicate that Epstein had any property, banking activity, or illegal activity in Cyprus. The emails are part of a new batch of documents released by the US Department of Justice.

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking of minors.
