Prison Documents: Changed Testimony and Questions Arise

New information regarding the case of documents found at the residence of a chief warden of the Central Prisons has been brought to light in a report by Nearchos Kyprianou in the newspaper «Politis».

According to the report, a suspect allegedly stated orally that he was instructed to transfer the documents from the prison by another person, also a suspect. However, the oral testimony was not made written, and the suspect reportedly remained silent.

Additionally, the former commander of MMAD, Savvas Christou, expressed surprise at the presence of his confidential letters to the Chief of Police among the documents.

Nearchos Kyprianou clarifies that the number 300,000 refers to the pages found at the chief warden's house, while some of them are not related to the Central Prisons, raising questions about their storage.
