Explosion at Aradippou Factory - 3 Injured

An explosion occurred at a recycling factory in Livadia around 10 a.m. on Friday. Initial reports indicate that three people were seriously injured.

According to the Police, a citizen went to a scrap metal collection point in Aradippou to deliver old metals. An explosion occurred during unloading. A 52-year-old Greek Cypriot, a foreign employee, and another citizen were injured.

All three were taken to the Emergency Department of Larnaca General Hospital. The scene has been cordoned off, and the causes of the explosion are under investigation.
