The investigation into the murder of Eleni Papadopoulou continues, with her son's profile coming to light. His father was a central figure in the Metapolitefsi, a PASOK MP and Minister of Northern Greece. The family enjoyed prestige and financial comfort.

However, the accused rejected the family's value system. In the 1990s, he organized illegal rave parties in Oinofyta, on land belonging to his father. He considered rave an ideology, a rejection of the city and rules.

After a tragic incident in Oinofyta, he withdrew from the parties and created an egg production farm, which was later abandoned. According to reports, his financial survival depended on his parents, which strained the relationship, especially with his mother.

The death of Eleni Papadopoulou was initially not treated as a criminal act, but forensic findings revealed injuries that could not be attributed to an accident. The son's contradictory descriptions led the authorities to the conclusion that it was murder.
