Arson Attacks on Fan Homes: Video and Arrest

The Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) solved two arson attacks on the homes of organized AEK fans, which took place in July 2025 in Dafni and Agios Dimitrios. The perpetrator is a 20-year-old Panathinaikos fan, who has been arrested, while an accomplice is being sought.

According to the police, the perpetrators placed improvised incendiary devices at the entrances of apartment buildings where AEK fans resided. After the attacks, the 20-year-old fled to the USA, but was located and arrested on February 9, 2026, upon his return to Greece.

A small amount of cannabis, a grinder, stickers with team insignia, coloring sprays, and clothing with abusive content were found in his possession. Protothema.gr published a video of the attacks.
