One Arrest and 12 Alcohol Violations in Police Checks

Cyprus Police conducted extensive patrols across the island to prevent criminal activities and ensure public order.

During the operations, one person was arrested for illegal possession of property. 379 drivers and passengers were checked, and 20 premises were inspected.

Traffic controls resulted in 117 complaints for various violations, including 12 complaints for driving under the influence of alcohol and 3 for driving under the influence of drugs. 2 vehicles were impounded.

Police operations continue daily to prevent and suppress crime.
