Driver Who Collided with Police Car in Makedonitissa Identified

The vehicle that collided with a police car during surveillance of a site where seven pistols were found in Makedonitissa has been located. According to the police, the vehicle and its owner have been identified following investigations into the incident on Sunday, 02/11/2025.

The Greek-Cypriot owner was questioned by the Nicosia TAE and admitted her involvement in the traffic collision and leaving the scene. Authorities note that the incident is not related to the discovery of the weapons but is being investigated as a traffic collision with abandonment.

It is recalled that the seven pistols were found after information assessment and investigations. Scientific examinations will show whether the weapons are related to criminal acts.
