Bishop of Karpasia: Investigation into Allegations of Misappropriation of Funds

Bishop Christoforos of Karpasia has stated that he is at the disposal of the authorities to investigate allegations regarding events that allegedly took place in 2020.

In a written statement released by his lawyers, it is mentioned that he is willing to fully cooperate with the investigating authorities for a thorough investigation of the case.

The statement also highlights that the timing of the complaint is linked to the upcoming filling of the position of Metropolitan of Paphos.

According to the complaint, the Bishop of Karpasia allegedly transferred funds belonging to the Pancyprian Parents' Union (ΠΕΓ) to his personal bank accounts.
