Men Attacked After Dating App Meetups

Police are investigating attacks on men after arranging meetups through dating sites. A recent incident in Nicosia led authorities to young individuals allegedly attacking a 42-year-old.

According to police, the perpetrators, wearing hoods, assaulted the victim as soon as he arrived at the meeting point. Investigations revealed at least two other cases in Nicosia, with similar incidents reported in other provinces.

The Cyprus Times reports that there are other unreported assault cases. Citizens are urged to exercise caution when arranging meetings with unknown individuals.
