Attack on Official at Social Welfare Office in Limassol β Tensions and Warnings
The Pancyprian Union "Equality" has reported an attack on an official at a Social Welfare Office in Limassol, warning of measures to be taken.
According to the report, the incident occurred on Monday at the Germasogeia Social Welfare Office, where a citizen allegedly verbally and physically assaulted staff, causing damage.
The union criticizes the reaction of the private security guard and the delayed arrival of the police, demanding the replacement of private guards with police officers and the establishment of a protocol for managing violent incidents.
"Equality" warns of dynamic measures, such as work stoppages and legal actions, to protect its members.
