Seven Arrests and 110 Speeding Tickets Issued in Police Operations

Police made seven arrests during organized patrols and checks in urban areas on Tuesday night. The operations aimed to prevent criminal activities and ensure public order.

According to the Police, the arrests were for offenses such as failure to appear in Court, illegal possession of property, illegal possession and transportation of a harmful gas launcher, illegal entry into the Republic, and illegal possession of drugs.

During the checks, 373 drivers and 77 passengers were stopped and checked, while 35 premises were inspected. In traffic enforcement checks, 228 tickets were issued, including 110 for speeding. 3 vehicles were also impounded.

60 alcohol tests were conducted, resulting in two citations, and one citation for driving under the influence of drugs.

Police operations continue daily to prevent and suppress crime.
