Investigating authorities have re-arrested one of the individuals initially apprehended in connection with the premeditated murder case of Stavros Demosthenous, who had been released by the court.

The individual is a 51-year-old Greek national, who, according to the police, was linked via DNA to a jerrycan containing flammable material found in the stolen vehicle.

The case is expected to be filed today, with charges against the 51-year-old, a 30-year-old from Nicosia, a 30-year-old convict, and a 31-year-old Georgian national. A 58-year-old from Nicosia has been released.

It is reminded that the extradition from Thessaloniki of two 28-year-old Georgians is pending, whose arrest is considered crucial to the case.
