Fears of Vendetta in Limassol After New Attack

Police in Limassol are on alert following a vandalism incident at a barbershop owned by a 30-year-old man wanted in connection with an attempted murder. The incident, which occurred around 1:30 AM, involved the shattering of the barbershop's glass display window.
Lefteris Kyriakou, Assistant Police Director of Limassol, stated that police believe the act was a message to the 30-year-old. Police have intensified patrols in the area to prevent a potential escalation of the situation into a vendetta.
According to police, two individuals with covered faces threw stones at the barbershop. Evidence collected and data from closed-circuit surveillance are being carefully examined.
The 30-year-old is wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a 36-year-old, who is hospitalized in critical condition in a private clinic in Limassol. Both individuals involved have a history with the authorities.
