Phytiris Praises YKAN for Successful Drug and Arms Seizure

The Minister of Justice, Kostas Phytiris, visited the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN), expressing his congratulations for the recent successful operation.

During the operation, 233.5 kg of narcotics, weaponry, and explosive devices were seized. Mr. Phytiris personally congratulated the YKAN members who participated in the operation and was briefed on the challenges they face.

The Minister of Justice emphasized that this success represents a significant blow to organized drug trafficking rings, describing YKAN personnel as the wall of protection for youth against the scourge of drugs.
