Indian man arrested for fraud involving fake embassy of fictional countries

A 47-year-old man was arrested in New Delhi on charges of creating a fake embassy and posing as a diplomat of non-existent countries to extract money.
The accused, Hasvardan Jain, allegedly presented himself as an ambassador of fictional entities such as 'Seborga' and 'Dytarctica'. Police confiscated cars with fake license plates outside the alleged embassy.
Jain is accused of extorting money by promising jobs in the fictional countries. 4.5 million rupees in foreign currency, fake stamps of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other countries, as well as 'doctored' photos with international leaders were confiscated.
The charges include money laundering, forgery, impersonation and possession of forged documents.
