Heraklion: 71-Year-Old Woman Found Dead on Cruise Ship

A 71-year-old German national was found dead in her cabin on a cruise ship during a trip from Nafplio to Heraklion.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening, when the Central Port Authority of Heraklion was informed of the event. The ship's doctor confirmed the woman's death.

After the ship docked at the port of Heraklion, the body of the 71-year-old was transferred to the Forensic Service for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The Port Authority of Heraklion is investigating the case.
