Heraklion: Businessman Vanishes After Taking Money for Tour

A businessman in Heraklion, Crete, has allegedly vanished after taking money from Israeli tourists for a scheduled tour that never took place.

The incident occurred on Thursday, August 28th, when passengers of the Crown Iris cruise ship arrived at the tour's starting point, only to find no one there. Neither a bus, nor a driver, nor any responsible person was present to inform them.

The tourists returned to the ship enraged. According to creta24.gr, the businessman has been accused of similar scams in the past but continues his activity by changing his VAT number (ΑΦΜ).
