Heraklion: Municipal Employee Arrested for Forgery in Exchange for €6,000

In Heraklion, a municipal employee was arrested on charges of forging a document in exchange for €6,000.

According to the police, the arrest followed a complaint. The employee allegedly forged a document for a local woman's personal matter, receiving the aforementioned amount as payment.

The pre-marked money was found in his possession and confiscated, along with the forged document and handwritten notes. The investigation is being conducted by the Malevizi Police Department.
