Heraklion: Arrests for illegal possession of weapons in Phaistos Municipality
Three men were arrested yesterday (August 23) in the Municipality of Phaistos, Heraklion, for illegal possession of weapons. The arrested individuals are 28, 31, and 58 years old.
According to the police, during a search of their homes, the following were found and confiscated:
- Five hunting weapons without the necessary safety precautions
- One air rifle
- 39 cartridges of various calibers
- One bayonet
- Two knives
- Ancient coins
The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Phaistos Police Department.
