Assault Allegation at Doxa Strovolou, One Person Wanted

Police are investigating a serious allegation of assault against patrons of the Doxa Strovolou association, following an incident on February 8, 2026.

According to the complaint, one person was attacked inside the association's premises and taken to the hospital. Police have issued an arrest warrant and are searching for the perpetrator.

The Facebook page "Residents of Strovolos" claims that the perpetrator is known to the authorities and hints at political motives. According to the post, the perpetrator threatened the patrons not to testify, while security cameras are being examined by the Police.

The post states that the victims of the attack were mainly elderly people. There is also a reference to a previous incident with the same perpetrator, who allegedly has connections with political figures.
