200 kg of Meat Seized at Agios Dometios Crossing

Approximately 200 kg of raw meat, including bones and animal hides, were seized at the Agios Dometios crossing point. The meat originated from the occupied territories.
The Customs Department confiscated the products, which were abandoned by the driver. The driver paid ā¬600 for an out-of-court settlement and the return of the vehicle.
The Customs Department warns the public to be cautious about purchases from the occupied territories and to comply with Green Line regulations, due to risks to public health and the potential transmission of infectious diseases.
