The second 'trial within a trial' continued before the Nicosia Permanent Criminal Court regarding the admissibility of the testimony of German real estate agent, Eva Isabella Künzel, who faces charges of usurping Greek Cypriot properties in the occupied territories, promoting illegal transactions, and laundering proceeds from illegal activities in the period 2023-2024.

The investigating officer, Chief Constable Dimitra Stavrou, testified that Künzel's statement was completely voluntary and that the defendant was fully aware of her rights and was not pressured in any way.

The process continues with the testimony of witnesses and the examination of documents, with the defense challenging the origin of the questions to Künzel.

The trial will continue next Monday, November 9th.
