āϏāϤāϰā§āĻāϤāĻž: After "mad cow" case

Following a death in the occupied territories from bovine spongiform encephalopathy, also known as "mad cow disease," the T/C "chamber of food engineers" warns the public to buy meat and meat products from "officially" inspected butcher shops, and minced meat and processed meat products only from "licensed and registered" businesses.
According to reports in the occupied territories, the announcement adds that tissues such as the brain, spinal cord, spleen, and small intestine should not be consumed or used in cooking due to the high risk of the disease. It also called on the "authorities" to implement strict veterinary controls on meat imports and domestic slaughterhouses.
Beste Ãymen, "president" of the "chamber," stated that the disease is fatal in cattle and affects the brain and nervous system, explaining that the cause is an abnormal protein called a prion. "Transmission to humans is through the entry of these tissues into the food chain and their consumption," she noted.
The prions that cause the disease are extremely resistant to heat and cooking, she continued, noting that boiling, stewing, frying, or grilling do not destroy them.
