Kiti: 31-year-old dies in paragliding accident

A tragedy occurred in the Kiti area, claiming the life of 31-year-old Antonis Kourras from Anageia, who crashed while paragliding.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday when the 31-year-old was flying a paramotor at a low altitude above the sea. Under investigation, he lost control and fell on a rock near the coast.

An ambulance transported him to Larnaca General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Kiti police and the Air Accident Investigation Committee rushed to the scene.
