Cyprus: 7 Arrests in Police Operation for Knife Possession and Other Offences

In a coordinated operation across Cyprus, police arrested seven individuals for various offences, including knife possession, failure to appear in court, and illegal stay.
During the operation, which aimed to prevent serious criminal acts and ensure public order, police checked 783 drivers and passengers and conducted 32 checks on establishments.
A total of 412 traffic violations were reported, including 122 for speeding and 39 for not wearing seatbelts. Seven vehicles were impounded.
Police operations continue daily across Cyprus.
