Cyprus: Cryptocurrency Fraud – Unknown Perpetrators Stole €458,000

Unknown individuals managed to steal cryptocurrencies worth almost half a million euros from a company based in Cyprus, according to a police report.

This large-scale electronic fraud case occurred in April. The perpetrators gained unauthorized access to the company's digital wallet and stole cryptocurrencies worth €459,000.

The Cybercrime Investigation Department has taken over the case. The police advise citizens to use digital wallets with strong security measures and to choose reliable platforms.
