Cyprus: Five Arrests for Assault, Theft, and Drunk Driving

Police in Cyprus have arrested five individuals for various offenses, including assault, theft, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Twelve vehicles were also seized.

The arrests were made during organized patrols in urban areas across Cyprus, aimed at preventing serious criminal acts and ensuring public order. A total of 910 drivers and passengers were checked, and 16 premises were inspected.

During traffic controls, 214 complaints were filed, including 26 for driving under the influence of alcohol. Police operations are continuing daily.
