Cyprus Police: Two Arrests and 101 Traffic Violations in One Night

The Cyprus Police conducted extensive patrols throughout Cyprus, aiming to prevent criminal activities and ensure public order.

During the operations, two individuals were arrested: one for driving under the influence of alcohol and one for public insult.

A total of 591 drivers and passengers were checked, and 35 premises were inspected, resulting in 6 complaints for violations such as underage entry and sound emission permits.

During traffic controls, 101 complaints were recorded for various violations, with 46 concerning drivers under the influence of alcohol. 7 vehicles were also detained.

Police operations continue daily to prevent and suppress crime.
