Larnaca: 21-Year-Old Arrested for Bag Theft on Phinikoudes Beach

A 21-year-old has been arrested in Larnaca for stealing a bag from Phinikoudes beach. According to the report, the theft occurred around 9:00 PM on Tuesday, when a group of five people allegedly stole the bag of a 21-year-old Larnaca resident, which contained his mobile phone and cash.

During the investigation of the case, testimony emerged against a 22-year-old, who was arrested based on a court warrant and detained. The Larnaca Minor Offenses Department continues the investigation.

The Police advise the public to be careful and urge citizens to take measures to protect their property, such as carrying only the necessary money and not leaving personal belongings unattended.

The public is urged to be vigilant and cooperate with the Police, informing the local Police Station or contacting the Citizen's Communication Line at 1460, in case of suspicious movements.
