Larnaca: Strict Measures for Arraignment of Arrested Individuals

A major police operation is underway in Larnaca to bring the arrested individuals before the Court. A total of 11 people have been arrested, including 2 businessmen, one defendant, and security guards.

The arrests follow the bloody clash with gunfire that occurred last Saturday near the Larnaca Police Department. Raids were carried out on homes and other establishments.

Among those arrested are 2 businessmen and 6 security guards for interfering with the police investigation, as well as 2 people for forming a criminal organization and money laundering. A defendant (23 years old) was arrested for attempted murder.

Approximately 100 thousand euros were found in the possession of one of the businessmen.
