Larnaca: Woman Attacks Police Officer – Strikes Him in the Face

An incident occurred in Larnaca on Monday morning when a woman attacked a police officer. According to reports, around 11:30 a.m., the woman approached members of the cycling police holding a court order and shouting.

The police officers informed her that her actions constituted an offense, causing her to react more strongly. She allegedly insulted a police officer and struck him in the face. The police officer's health condition is not a cause for concern.

The woman was arrested and taken to the police station, where she was charged with causing a disturbance, public insult, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest.
