Larnaca: Investigations into Further Criminal Acts and Weapons

Investigations are underway regarding a criminal group, members of which are depicted in 16 videos found on the mobile phone of a 48-year-old defendant.

Authorities have identified some of the victims and are expected to expand the investigation, with potential new individuals involved. Investigators are focusing on identifying the remaining individuals and collecting testimonies, while they have collected evidence from an office used by the group for beatings and torture.

A large volume of data is being evaluated and investigations are being conducted to locate additional evidence, including weapons that appear to have been used for threats. The videos also contain references to other criminal acts, such as an alleged attempted murder against the 48-year-old and a case of arson.
